Henning Deters is an assistant professor at the University of Vienna’s Institute for Political Science, Centre for European Integration Research (EIF). His research interest include the dynamics of multi-veto constellations and judicial politics in the EU. Substantively, he focuses on environment and single market policy.
Before starting at EIF, Henning worked at the Bremen TranState Research Center in a project on transnational social regulation. His doctoral thesis on EU environmental politics under the constraints of joint-decision making was published in 2018 with ECPR Press/Rowman & Littlefield.
He also rolled pretty good vegan maki in Montréal.
